Valorant Mobile Release Date Finally Announced

Riot Games, which made its mark in the mobile gaming sector with League of Legends, is now looking to replicate that success with Valorant. Following the tactical shooter's expansion to consoles, the studio is set to launch a mobile version.

At ChinaJoy 2025, a joint event by Riot Games and Tencent, key details about Valorant Mobile emerged—including its release date in China, game modes, maps, and agent roster. Here’s the main information.

When will Valorant Mobile be released in China?

Riot Games and Tencent have confirmed that Valorant Mobile will launch in China on August 19. After months of beta testing, the game is set to officially enter one of the world’s largest gaming markets.

 

At launch, players will have access to 10 game modes (including Competitive, Spike Rush, and Deathmatch), 7 core maps, and 2 exclusive Team Deathmatch maps. There will be 18 playable agents, such as Iso and Sage, though newer characters like KAY/O, Clove, and Waylay will not be available initially.

When will Valorant Mobile get a global release?

The global release date has not yet been confirmed. However, the launch in China signals progress on the game, and fans can expect a worldwide release in early 2026 or possibly sooner.
